ROTARY DRUM SCREENS
INFLOSCREEN

Description and operation

The Definitive Ecology INFLOSCREEN rotary drum screen is an efficient solution for fine screening of municipal and industrial wastewater in reinforced concrete channel plants.

Designed to handle medium-high flow rates, the rotary drum screen is suitable for installation in reinforced concrete channels and is equipped with a screenings lifting screw.

Fine screening is performed with a perforated plate screen or self-cleaning wedge wire with aperture / spacing of between 0.5 mm and 5 mm.

The line includes two types of machines: the first is an FS model, mounted horizontally in the channel and consequently semi-submerged in the wastewater, with an extracting screw that is not axially aligned with the drum; the second is an FSH model with the extracting screw perfectly coaxial with the drum. While both solutions are highly efficient, model FS offers several advantages, including, above all, the possibility of restricting the size of the machine thanks to the opportunity to exploit the surface of the drum (semi-submerged in the wastewater) far more effectively, in addition to reduced and simplified maintenance, which can be carried out directly in the channel without having to extract the machine.

Model FSH can be supplied also for in-tank installation.
